Do you see children as well as adults?
Yes. Dr. Patel treats patients from about six months old through to older adults. A whole family can be seen in one practice rather than split between a pediatric office and a general one. Appointments for family members are often booked back to back.
What happens at a first appointment?
A new patient visit runs a full 60 minutes and covers a cleaning, a full examination and imaging where it is needed. You leave with a written treatment estimate if anything is recommended. Nothing beyond the examination is carried out at that first visit without your agreement.
Do you take dental emergencies?
Yes. Call the office nearest you as early in the day as possible and we will fit you in where the schedule allows. For pain, swelling, a broken tooth or a knocked out tooth, emergency dental care explains what to do before you arrive.
How much do dental implants cost in Oklahoma City?
The figure depends on how many teeth are involved, whether a bone graft or an extraction is needed first, and the type of restoration placed on top. We quote after an examination and imaging rather than over the phone, and the estimate is written down before treatment begins.
Do you accept dental insurance?

I get anxious at the dentist. What can you do?
Tell us when you book. Longer appointments, a calm treatment room and explaining each step before it happens solve most of it. Digital impressions also remove the impression trays that many anxious patients find hardest, and we work at whatever pace you need.
How often should my teeth be cleaned?
Twice a year suits most people. Patients with gum disease, a history of decay, or who smoke are usually seen every three or four months, because the bacteria rebuild faster. We tell you which interval applies to you at the examination rather than booking everyone the same way.
Is your treatment covered by a warranty?
An optional treatment protection plan is available to purchase, underwritten by a third party, covering qualifying restorative work. It is not automatic and it is not included in the treatment fee. See the warranty page for what it covers.
