● The cost of a crown is calculated based on the location and size of the tooth.● Your insurance may cover a percentage of restorative work like dental crowns.● Our front office staff will outline your estimated out-of-pocket investment.
Depending on your insurance plan, your dental crown may be covered in part or full. As a fee-for-service practice, we can provide an estimated total cost based on your plan. Any remaining balance not included in your insurance benefits is your responsibility.
Yes! If you’ve lost a crown or if your crown feels loose, cracked, or just “came off”, let us know as soon as possible and we’ll schedule you for an emergency visit.
With proper care, your crown can last 15 years or more.
Care for your crown the same way you would any other tooth — brushing twice a day, flossing once a day, and keeping up on your twice-a-year dental exams and cleanings.
